Welcome to this training for the den in DSB 150 Bluetooth Speaker, a product that delivers great sounding music playback from your mobile devices. With the introduction of the ipod and the itunes store. A revolution took place in the music industry. Music was no longer only stored on physical media, but could also easily be purchased with the click of a mouse with an ipod. You could have thousands of songs in your pocket and ever since consumer listening behavior has significantly changed. Bluetooth is used to establish the wireless connection between your mobile device and the DSP 150. Bluetooth technology allows wireless audio devices to find each other and connect so they're able to talk to each other for the actual audio transmission. Bluetooth applies audio compression to reduce the size of the audio files. Bluetooth can apply different types of audio compression depending on what is supported on both the source and receiver end by default Sbc or side band coding is employed. This technology uses relatively heavy compression which can result in substantial loss of quality. However, the Bluetooth standard also allows product developers to make use of other compression technologies. The DSP 150 supports to other standards, both of which perform much better than SBC. These are a C and Apt X. A. A C is best known from Itunes and it's used by most apple devices. A C is a very efficient compression technology resulting in a good audio quality. Best results, however, are achieved by abducts a technology from CSR. APT X is a lossless compression technique, which means there's no audio quality loss, thereby delivering cd quality. Today, AP DEX is supported by a wide and ever increasing number of smartphones. We've reached the end of this training in which we've covered the following. We established that bluetooth streaming is the ideal solution for consumers who want to listen to music from their mobile devices anywhere at any time. Then we showed some great features of the DSP 150. It has a beautiful slim design, it has an excellent sound quality due to the use of our own drivers and bluetooth app decks, and it is very easy to use. Thanks to Bluetooth, multi point NFC pairing and an auxiliary input. Thank you for participating in this training. You're now ready to take the quiz.
