Kathryn Anne Lavelle

My name is Kathryn, and using my voice has been my business for at least 30 years. I have spent my life doing live theater, public speaking, teaching, domestic violence outreach and education, and court advocacy.
From March of 2010 until December of 2019, I was employed at Paul Bunyan/Hubbard Broadcasting, where I provided a viable, on-air personality- 7 days a week. I planned, prepared and delivered daily mid day shows on two of Northern Minnesota's largest stations, KB101 and Z99. During that time I also created, programmed and hosted a weekly, deep cut classic rock show called the Classic Cafe, which became very successful at freshening up the station and bringing new listeners into the Z99 fold.
A part of my job was advertising, and I wrote and recorded commercials and PSA's. Another part of my job was providing a positive public image for the station, and I did live remote announcing for various community events, such as regional concerts, business openings, non profit fundraising events, local news and trade shows.
As an announcer, I was also very comfortable interviewing both influential community members and traveling entertainers.
As a singer and songwriter, I love creating and performing music, and I became quite talented at composing jingles, as well.
I am proficient in Mac Radio, Sound Studio, Zetta, VCreative, Microsoft Word and Publisher.
My hobbies are hiking, singing & songwriting, boating, motorcycles, collecting old Mad Magazines, and hanging out with family.
