I was hired by the U.S. Information Agency's broadcast station, Voice of America (VOA), in a nation-wide talent search as international radio broadcaster because of my clear, pleasant and smooth voice quality, my superior translation skills and my native fluency and accuracy in both English and Chinese.

During my tenure at VOA, I hosted and voiced-over hundreds of live and recorded radio programs in culture, music, history, society, medicine and politics. I was also the host of an English teaching show, "English USA," which was on air for nearly a decade.
