About Matthew Jack

From early childhood it was obvious that i had a natural flair for the creative and dramatic when i would make pictures out of my dinner left-overs and told my family stories about what the picture was showing. Throughout life i have dabbled in many creative endeavours, but have found that my true passion lies in acting in all of its capacities. I have dabbled with voiceover work for a number of years with relative success, but have never given it my sole focus. This global pandemic has made me think about how i can focus my acting bug in a more professional light, and as such i have spent the first few months of this year properly providing voiceover work online. I have hand built my own studio at home, and am ready to take on whatever creative projects come my way!

I have a wide vocal range, with my voice naturally settling around the Baritone range in normal conversation. My voice has been described as being warm, capable, reasurring and characterful. I have a particular passion for character acting thanks to my wide vocal range and a lifetime of theatre acting experience, but am more than confident doing straight script reads for any project. I have my own studio set up at home, and have over a decade of experience recording using the Steinberg Cubase interface.
