Matt Ketai is an actor and writer originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He holds a BFA in Acting from Boston University and an MFA in Acting from Brown University. As an actor, Matt’s New York Credits Include: Abingdon Square (reading, WP Theatre), LIAR (workshop, dir. Tamilla Woodard), The Pigeon Keeper (reading, Santa Fe Opera), Regretfully, So the Birds Are (reading, Ojai Playwrights Conference), Akira Kurosawa! (reading, wr- Julia Izumi), Xander Xist (wr. Jeremy O. Harris), Tiananmen Engine (workshop, wr. Madelyn Kent), La Ruta (workshop, Working Theatre), Mom Play (wr. Sarah Delappe-premiere). He has also acted regionally in productions of Dracula (Williamstown Theatre Festival), A Christmas Carol (Trinity Rep.), Ideation (New Rep), Othello (ASP), among others. As a writer, Matt’s work (God’s Game and Blue.) has been featured in a variety of play festivals. And he has also written for the Web-Series “Love In NY”. In 2019 his solo show Spiral. was a Critic's Pick at the United Solo Festival and most recently his screenplay From Top to Bottom quartfinaled in the 2020 WeScreenplay TV pilot competition.
