Some men are born into war, brought through the treacherous channels of ancestral lust or even love and into a world of their own, already brimming with chaos that gives way to rage and violence. Others receive war as a gift, even though they're born and raised into peace and are content with it, and the gift of war opens to them the gates of glory and power. And these ambitions mingle with bloodlust until the two cannot be separated Until they are truly one. These men rage war with the fury of a demon and the dogma of a saint, relentless and implacable. Then there are men for whom war is a force of nature, not of mankind to contend with, but not to participate in and who regarded with dispassion when they choose to regard it at all. These men are rare and often die young.
