Hello, I've never really considered such a career as voice acting, but the more I look into it, the more interested I become. Before a year ago I wouldn't have even realised the potential, but as people began to tell me I have an interesting voice more and more, it started becoming a much clearer image in my head as a future career.
As everyone feels, recording ones own voice is always a strange concept, but as I've grown more confident it has helped me to know that my voice is a little strange. Over the past year or so I have participated in a couple of animations that a friend of mine made, to which I did all the voices in a different character which shows my versatility. I also took part in the community radio station in Preston (UK) known as Preston FM. I had a show on for a short while which gave my voice some more confidence in speaking publicly to lots of people. Also, as a music producer I do a lot of singing on my tracks so I know my voices functions and limits.
My voice has been described as somewhat two toned, similar to the way the throat singing monks sing two notes at a time but not quite so impressive (I'm sorry to say). I have quite a flexible pitch range as I can go very low but I can also go quite high pitched as well. Despite being from England, I have quite a neutral accent therefore speech in other accents is quite easily executed.
So, if you like what you hear or read, do not be afraid to get in contact. I am highly exited to pursue the limits of my voice.
Thanks.
