Born in June 4 1946 in Indiana. Suzanne. Ciani is an early American pioneer in the sound design industry and is most famous for her work with synth music that were used for many films and commercials. In this video, we will be analyzing why her work is so important and how she came to be known as America's first female synth hero, arguably the most important famous sound designer to date. Suzanne studied traditional liberal arts at Wellesley College, where she received classical music training and first came to know about music technology. She then completed her masters in composition and released her most famous album, the seven waves In 1982, which was nominated for a Grammy Award and the Velocity of Love three years later, which is stated to be her masterpiece album. The newly created synth genre at the time, was complacent with the 80's overall tone and aesthetic. The sci fi, electronically composed synthesizer music was made by Suzanne and it was indeed something to behold and to listen to the nuances, undertones layering in dreamy field was one of its kind and resonated with her audience, despite the lack of vocals
