read your Bible. Pray get closer to God if you have those disciplines down. If your relationship with God is solid, but you still feel like you're not getting anywhere, you're not doing something new. What else are you doing? You spend more time with your kids. More focused time with your kids, where you are intentional in playing with them, helping them with their homework, teaching them new skills. Do you need to do that? Okay, how do you change that? Don't take away the spiritual discipline part. What's something you didn't take to make that happen? And I understand doing new things. It's scary. Something truly unfamiliar is terrifying. But you have to do it. You have to get out of the boat. You have to let Jesus call you out of your boat of your old ways. Thought he conduce something new, but you have to just do it. Don't sit around waiting for some magic button to get pushed in your mind, your heart, your soul to say Okay, I'm totally new now. It is work. The disciples followed. Jesus followed. Jesus lived with Jesus saw what Jesus did. For three years, Pierre saw Elijah and Moses and Jesus at the transfiguration, and he still lost his focus and went fishing
