She worked at a large university in Pennsylvania. But every year this spring break, she returned home to First Mesa Village in the centre of the universe, the Hopi Nation, to visit her grandmama. Since she was a very little girl, Windsong helped grandmama bake. Today, she washed and peeled fruit while grandmama strong hands kneaded dough. Grandmama's wise words guided Windsong as she grew up.
