We got our in house journalist here, Sam, who actually got exclusive interview of Vorsah over the weekend. Is that right, Sam? That's right, Zach. I spoke with force after one of his sets and had a brief Q and A session with him that I think you guys will enjoy. So tell us a little about yourself. I'm Dan. I go with the alias Vorsah, and I make music. All right, so I'm going to start off with a music related question. So are there any specific styles of music that you found yourself leaning towards? So in the beginning, I noticed that I was trying to fit into genres, and I basically ended up sounding like everybody else. But as I cut making music, I wanna branch out and make something unique and stand out from what everyone else was doing. So when you say you're going for your own unique style of music, how would you define that style? I don't really have a definite answer because I don't have a clear picture for where I'm going. In terms of my style, I'm just letting the music come naturally and whatever I want to make, I make well, with that said, Do you see yourself in any particular place in a year or two from now? Not really. I'm kind of just hoping that I can keep producing music like I am now. That makes sense. So I'm gonna move on to a next question. How long does it usually take you to finish the song? It really depends on the song. Some songs just come naturally and I could finish it within the first week of starting it. But other songs may take me months to finish just because I'll reach roadblocks in that particular track, and I need to come back to it at a later time. So every now and then, it sounds like you have trouble writing new music. Can you elaborate on that? Yeah, Sometimes it's hard to find inspiration to make new music. Um, I'll sit there with my dog Hope and just trying and trying, but nothing comes pretty much every producer I know. Go see this from time to time, and sometimes it feels like you're you'll never make a song again. But eventually that inspiration will come back to you. What are some inspirations of years? I used to get a lot of my inspiration from other music, but recently I've found myself pulling inspiration from pretty much everything, whether it's movies, documentaries, books, just going out and walking through a forest pretty much anything. So we have enough time for one last question. Are you critical of your own work? Yeah, I am very critical of my own work, But most artists I know when no matter what art form it is, is critical of their own work. Um, I think it's helpful to keep growing and to keep pushing yourself. If you're content with what you're making, you're not going to strive to improve yourself. And there you have it straight from Vorsah himself. You want the things Sanford getting us this exclusive interview any time, Zach, And that's all we have for today's episode. Join us again next week. When we talked a local actor, Eli de Calzone Ezra Miller look alike as dreams of making it big in Hollywood. I'm your hose at Garrison. This is the locally talented podcast. Have a great day.
