welcome to the content economy. Our economy and the purchasing decisions of every American is driven by the content they consume on a product service restaurant, hotel car, etcetera. Rarely do people purchase anything without first checking it out online. We live in a content economy. The content economy is an economy in which products are bought and sold, using content with no interaction with the sales person. As mentioned previously, Amazon is the clear leader in this area, where all consumers concert and learn about products without having to talk to someone. YouTube is the video content leader. But as of this writing August 2018 what is emerging within YouTube is the massive growth of how to videos. It is the fastest growing segment of YouTube, growing 11 times in the past two years.
