Do You Offer a Free Trial?   

Creating a Voices profile is always free and allows you to showcase all of your voice over skills. 

This free Guest membership gives you a platform to see the types of jobs we offer and determine if working on Voices is right for you before purchasing a paid membership. 

 

What Are The Different Membership Tiers?

We have two membership tiers: Guest and Premium.

A Guest membership provides you with an online profile, the ability to upload demos, access to our resources, and the ability to review your job matches.

It’s important to note that having a Guest membership is limiting in terms of your visibility and access to jobs. A Guest member is only able to audition for jobs that a client personally invites you to. When a client personally invites you to their job, we call this a Private invite. You can be Privately invited to a job through a client finding your demos through our search. Search results show Premium members first, then Guest.

Premium members receive increased visibility in search. Most importantly, Premium members receive automatic matches to job postings, allowing them to respond to Public invites and achieve greater earnings. Public invites are invitations to jobs automatically matched to you through our VoiceMatch matching algorithm. VoiceMatch matches your skills to a job posting’s creative specifications. Clients on Voices post more than 5,000 jobs each month that our paid members receive automatic VoiceMatch matches to.

In order to create projects on Voices to sell, a Premium membership is required.

How Do I Upgrade To A Premium Membership?   

Upgrade your membership from Guest to Premium directly from your profile through:

MyHome

To the right of your MyHome page, you’ll see ‘Ready to take your creative career to the next level?’ Select ‘Upgrade to Premium’ and complete the checkout form and immediately have access to respond to all Public invitations waiting for you.

Job List

See a job you’d be a perfect fit for in your Job list? Click ‘Reply to Job’, then 'Premium' and complete the checkout form to immediately respond to this job and all Public invitations waiting for you.

Account Settings

Hover over your 'Me' avatar in the top navigation bar, then select ‘Upgrade to Premium’, then ‘Premium’. Complete the checkout form and immediately have access to respond to all Public invitations waiting for you.

 

What Methods Of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept credit card and PayPal payments.

Credit Card: Visa, VisaDebit, Mastercard, DebitMastercard.

PayPal: Discover and AmEx cards can be used through the PayPal option. 


 

Why Am I Being Charged HST/GST At Checkout?

As a registered Canadian business, Voices is responsible for collecting HST/GST from our Canadian customers. For this reason, if your mailing and/or billing address is in Canada, you’ll be required to pay the HST/GST prescribed by your province. These taxes are charged at the rates outlined in the Government of Canada’s sales tax schedule following the type of goods or services purchased.

Can I Get A Receipt For My Membership Payment?   

Yes. Immediately after the purchase of your Premium membership, you’ll receive a receipt by email. 

To access a copy of your receipt from within your Voices account, follow these steps:

  1. Hover over your ‘Me’ avatar in the top-right corner, select ‘Account Settings’, then ‘Billing History’.

  2. Click on ‘View’ to see the details of a specific payment. From here, you have the option of printing.

 

When Does My Membership Renew?

Your membership renews 365 days from your date of purchase or annual renewal date. 

Forget which date that was? You can access your account details, including your renewal date, from your Voices account.

  1. Hover over the 'Me" avatar in the top-right corner of your profile.

  2. Select ‘Account Settings’, then ‘Membership’.

You will be shown your Membership Information, which includes your next payment amount and your next payment date.


 

How Do I Renew My Membership?   

Premium memberships renew automatically.

Your original email receipt includes the following statement:

"Your membership will automatically renew at the regular rate unless you cancel prior to the end of the billing period. If you have any questions or concerns about your membership, please contact us."

 

My credit card on file is expired. How can I update my credit card details?

Thirty days before your renewal date, you’ll receive a notification email. This email includes a link to update your expired credit card information.

What Is the Voices Membership Refund Policy?   

When you purchase with Voices, you are paying for services upfront. By registering on Voices, you agree to our Terms of Service, stating that memberships, subscriptions, and services provided are non-refundable. 

Please note that by default, all talent memberships renew automatically. If you wish to cancel your membership, please submit a cancellation request through your Account Settings. 

How Do I Submit A Cancellation Request?

To submit a cancellation request:

  1. Hover over the 'Me" avatar in the top-right corner of your profile.

  2. Select ‘Account Settings’.

  3. Select ‘Membership’, then ‘Cancel Membership’.


 

I Just Paid for My Voices Membership. So Why Am I Being Asked to Pay Again?

Although your Premium membership renews automatically, your browser may be using cookies. This will return you to the previous page you visited before your PayPal or credit card payment was processed.

To correct this, you may need to log out and log in again to refresh the page.

What Happens When If I Cancel My Premium Membership?

When you cancel your Premium membership, we downgrade you back to a Guest membership.

If you have recently downgraded from a paid membership and are concerned about previous audition submissions, you have nothing to worry about. Clients can still award a job to you even if you're at our free membership level.

For example, even if you submitted an audition six months ago and you're now a Guest, the client can still hire you through your submission.
