Yeah, A man is what he thinks about all day long. That is a statement the philosopher and author, ralph Waldo Emerson made. He was definitely a very wise man. I like his view that man should live in harmony with nature and that way we can be closer to God, Probably something we should think about more often. What do you think about most? Your goals? Dreams, your problems. Now try not to think about anything. Did you manage no right. We think all the time. Even when we're sleeping in our dreams, how exhausting and how very important to spend time thinking about the right stuff. Have you ever worried yourself sick? That's not just an expression we can get so caught up in fantasizing about bad things happening that are head or stomach starts to hurt. Our thoughts have an effect on our entire body and our health and our life. We will never make the right steps if we don't plan to do so first. But how powerful is it when we make up our mind who can stop a man that has truly set his mind on something so it's important to control our thoughts. But let's do a test again. Try not to think of a golden retriever wearing a funny hat, riding a skateboard and what are you thinking of the golden retriever? I thought so, trying hard not to have bad thoughts, worries or cares is not the way to go Instead in Philippians 4, 8 Paul tells us. Finally, brothers and sisters. Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, Whatever is admirable. If anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Instead of trying not to have the wrong thoughts, we should focus on thinking about the right kind of stuff. God's love for us all the wonderful promises in his word, and anything that is good. That's the way our brain is wired. If we get busy thinking about the right stuff, we won't have time for the bad stuff. Sounds good to me. All right, But I think good thoughts. Mhm.
