Oh, hi there. It's almost time for my friends apple trees to bloom just a couple weeks now, so we're trying to figure out when to bring in the hives. It happens every year way. Make sure to put the hides out when the timing is right, when the honey bees could be food with pollen and nectar from the orchard, it's a big job. That's why I've got a number of times here, and I have a number of different varieties of trees. They bloom a different times, so the honeybees have access to a much pollen and nectar as they can gather during the blue period, number of honeybees can double during their time in the apple orchard, pollinated blossoms grow fruit. It's good for both of us, because without honey bees and other pollinators, I wouldn't have apples on my trees. Partnerships like ours air good for the health of honeybee hives while helping produce the food Canadians love to eat. Farmers want to pollinate their crops, all while helping to ensure there's a place for honeybees to gather pollen and nectar. Beekeepers also want a place to bring their hives each year that provides a healthy environment for honeybees. We work together to help keep the hives healthy and the orchards pollinated. That's why it's important to have a good relationship with your farmer or your beekeeper.
