there once was a large hawthorn bush in the town land of Kelly Galley on. For generations, local people wouldn't dare touch it. This hawthorn tree was a landmark, which could be seen from money counties around and was known locally as the Killi galley. Big Long Bush. It was custom at the time to have a large May Bush around which boys and girls would dance. They usually void with each other to see who would have the largest, the hawthorn May Bush being the kind always chosen. One day, a group of young men from the neighbouring town of Carrie come across wishing to have the largest hawthorn. Bush came and cut off the main branch of the Killi Galley big loan Bush on DH, putting it with ropes back to carry him across. They erected a closer there old church. However, to their astonishment, they didn't enjoy themselves dancing and merrymaking around the bush, as they usually did, as many of them had broken limbs or injured themselves while taking it back to Karishma Cross. During the following year, many sudden deaths occurred within the town. Among those who had cut the tree, some of the older people in a district begged them to take back what remained as sad and painting sons could be heard around the remains of the old Bush put their courage, failed them to do so on the remaining branch left on the old stem fell away over time. Sadly, today, very little, if anything remains off the once famous Kelly Galley, Big, Long Bush.
