I've never been in Halifax alone before. I had no idea where the address is on. My scrap of paper could be found. They were all downtown. Apparently, I started walking uphill away from the water at the next intersection. I asked a pleasant looking couple if they knew where Blower Street was. Sorry, we're not from here. Said the man in a friendly voice. The next block up there was a new stand shop. I ducked in there by the cash register were tourist maps for two bucks. I bought one, went out and sat down on the curb. Then I went back to the shop to buy a pen, returned to my place by the street and tried to mark off each place. I needed to go. Some of the names on the list were places not people. Others were just first names. I got just the smallest inkling of how little I knew Crystal. I went to Blower Street and knocked at the apartment door. There was no answer. Then I continued to market. Then back down to Argyle. I stopped in at a coffee shack on Barrington. I saw her earlier today, said the woman behind the counter. She was with that boyfriend of hers, Roscoe. I hated the name the second I heard it. How do I find Rosco? I asked he's the DJ down at the far corn progress. Now, I just needed to find the foghorn. The coffee lady had a customer. So I left her alone and went out to the street. Surely one of these Hala Ghanians would know where the foghorn was located. I stopped a businessman dressed in a smart tan suit. Excuse me, sir. I'm looking for the foghorn. He looked at me like I just told him I was Jesus. He walked off without responding. I tried a woman the next time. Excuse me, ma'am. But I'm looking for the foghorn. The foghorn. You mean the bar? That's right. Is this some kind of joke she asked? No, it's not. It's very serious. I'm trying to find my sister. The foghorn is an adult bar. I know that I said.
