John Kelly

On air career began in 1977. First drive-time position in 1989 at WKXX-FM in Birmingham, Alabama which would include production/imaging director. Success in afternoons helped propel the locally produced Kicks 106 Hometown Countdown to be among the market leaders for highest rated hours on weekends. From Birmingham to Tampa, Florida WMTX-AM & FM as production director for Billboard and Bobby Poe Award winning Mix 96. Over the next dozen years in Tampa, would serve in production and on air rolls for, Metroplex, Paxon, Jacor/Clear Channel, and Infinity/CBS Radio. Afternoon personality and production/imaging director for CBS's WRBQ-FM (Q-105) from 2001 to 2006 and received a Crystal Communicator Award. Served as a program director/drive-time personality for 5 years for Cumulus Media in Albany, Georgia, Des Moines, Iowa, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. John is currently afternoon drive host on WGHR-FM, Hits 106 in Hudson, Florida.
