Or maybe you're already a qualified professional who suddenly needs to record in their apartment. Assume you've already got the gear. Next hurdle is your space. You're going to need an acoustically treated space to provide quality audio. I personally always recommend using a simple PVC pipe frame and moving blankets. They're cheap, modular and machine washable, and with the right kind of set up, you can deliver broadcast quality audio every time.
