Every year, 6.5 million dogs and cats enter animal shelters in the US alone. Sadly, 1.5 million are euthanized. This is a national tragedy, and it has to stop. The good news is we're making progress thanks to the work of no kill animal shelters. One million innocent lives were saved this past year, but next year we can do even better. Acupuncture has been practiced for over 5000 years, making it one of the oldest forms of medicine in the world, and it's remarkable. Benefits are still being discovered. For instance, acupuncture husband shown to increase the success rate of in vitro fertilization but up to 65% not something the ancient people could have anticipated for sure. Wayne Dyer was born in Detroit in 1940 surrounded by poverty. His family life was chaotic and after his father walked out when he was 10 his mother sent him to an orphanage, where he spent the rest of his childhood. But Dire would not let those challenges define him. After graduating high school, he served in the Navy, eventually earning his degree in counseling and embarking on his career as a professor.
