When preparing the cables, make sure you have the right bend cable, clamp and stripped isolation distance. Remove the front cover with the opening tool provided, insert the tool and pull forward from all six snaps indicated in the installation guide. Remove the charge controller casing. If you're routing the power cable through the top, you need to snap off the weakened cable cover on the top of the casing. We recommend using pliers.
