Okay. My name is Laszlo Lutheran. I come from the fourth Moon where I live in a tribe of callused are people with my mother and father. We are a proud people descended from a magical bond between humans and dream spirit known as the quarry. Each family has a connection to a Cory spirit through our dreams. My mother, Keen walk and my father pound maker were once the closest of a pair. My mother taught me her skills in healing as the tribe doctor on my father taught me the way of the warrior as he did all other Children in the tribe. A silver to peace heart pendant hangs around my neck, representing their bond and mine. It is my holy symbol and remains so even to this day, after my parents divorce, I have separated the pendant into two pieces and will carry on the legacy of my family. Even in its destruction. My quarry is a woman who has had her heart broken. She showed me this memory the final night of my parent's marriage. I will strengthen my spiritually bond with my quarry and perhaps she can guide my way towards inner balance. I will carry the hurt that my parents have burdened me with. But I will also carve out my own path in the world and one day make a bond not so easily broken with someone I love. There is an old callous star fairy tale that I carry with me into every battle and every sunrise. There once was a boy who found a ribbon in the woods. He tied the ribbon around his wrist and it gave him the strength to rip trees from the ground and move mountains lying in bed, sick and close to death. The boy's mother asked for the ribbon so that it might save her. The boy gave her the ribbon and the mother betrayed him and plucked out his eyes. He wandered through life no longer able to see being taken in by different people until he eventually finds Ah wife. The boy doesn't understand why this girl loves him, but her love is strong and pure. She eventually finds a magical lake and helps the boy to dip his head beneath the water. When he resurfaces, his eyes and his vision have returned. This story ends with the boy finding his mother and taking vengeance upon her as well as retrieving the ribbon and his strength with it. Many young callous star wished to be like that boy. But the boy sought vengeance and found his strength in a ribbon. Not in his wife or the people who helped him when he was blind.
