Description
An Excerpt from my audiobook rendition of David Malki's parody Victorian novel, Dispatches from Wondermark Manor Vol. 1. Much of the humor in this book is derived from a specific kind of seriousness, the narrator simply not realizing that the things he does are humorous, and, in many cases, completely sociopathic. In this chapter, our hero completely dashes the dreams of his nephew, an aspiring artist. I developed the voices for both characters, with input from the author, to fully take advantage of the novel's unique tone and sense of humor.
