I have been a public speaker since 3rd grade. I went to a Catholic school and read at a college level in 3rd grade. The nuns wanted to encourage me. So they had me read the gospel readings at Church in front of the school. It gave me the confidence to be a public speaker. My time as a diver at Shedd Aquarium was invaluable. While diving with a full facemask w/mic, I would give a presentation of the animals while feeding. If I can give a speech while feeding a shark, I can take on any project.
