Hi, my name is Vivian K and I'm an entrepreneur. I've been an entrepreneur for the past 16 years with my last eight years in e commerce where I bootstrapped a business from zero to over $6 million in sales. I know all about the challenges that come with entrepreneurship from the highs of six figure months to the lows of not being able to make payroll and I did all of this as an immigrant college dropout and a single mother, I have been there, I have done that and I have the receipts, I'm excited to be the host of a brand new podcast called Building Braver brought to you by american Express. Canada build a braver is all about giving small business owners real world advice from seasoned entrepreneurs who have actually been through it. It's real time learning plus compelling storytelling that will encourage you the entrepreneur to keep going and build it braver. A lot of entrepreneurs are either getting started having a real challenging time or close to giving up this podcast is for entrepreneurs who are building businesses of all kinds and are facing challenges that they need real life solutions for in each episode we're going to hear from small business owners who are facing challenges in their businesses. Then we'll pair them up with a mentor, someone who's a bit further down the road who understands their sticking points and will be helping to guide them on their journey. I want to share more real and meaningful conversations about entrepreneurship because from my experience it can be a lonely journey but I'm here to show you that you don't have to do it alone. I would love for you to follow us on this journey and subscribe so you don't miss a single episode. Thanks for listening, and I'll talk to you soon.
