A steady, confident yet warm voice with versatility to wear a lot of hats.
Coming from a large, creative family, Michael learned to do voices quite organically from his mother and uncles. An announcer right from the start, as a young child, he'd make his sister sit in her room with a small AM radio while he'd broadcast from his room using his \"Mr. Microphone\". As a fan of Jonathan Winters, Robin Williams and later, Saturday Night Live, character acting and doing voices became part of Michael's every day speech. He was very involved in theater and is a member of the International Thespian Society.
While attending Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts, Michael scored an internship on The Breakfast Club morning show at WNIC in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. Upon graduating 2nd in his class, he was immediately hired as the show's producer, adding color commentary and doing character voices for comedy bits. In addition to the morning show, he was soon given the responsibility of Assistant Production Director before leaving for an on-air position at a competing station. Since then, Michael's career has taken him to 8 countries on 4 continents and all across the United States, always adding to the collection of characters lurking within.

Having been around the entertainment and agency world for almost 30 years, I can quickly ascertain the nuances needed in most reads pretty quickly. At the same time, I respond well to (and greatly appreciate) good direction in order to get the final read that's required. No direction experience? No problem. I'm very used to giving a variety of reads (sometimes ones you may not have thought of) so that you end up with everything you need create a great product. My theater experience makes me very adept at getting through long strings of copy in one take. I find this the best approach for very intense or emotional reads where fluency is as much a part of it as the voice itself.
I'm a professional and you'll get professional work.
