as a child, I thought, ghost to be the ones who walk through walls and are dressed in chains and clothing from another time. They were the dead who couldn't let go of this world for the passion of a loved one for the fire of a grudges score spirits. They were something mystic that surrounded us and came from all that we see, from the wise old trees to the angry waves of the mysterious waters. They traveled and danced along the treetops with the wind and rested on the chilled ground snow. As a man. Ghosts and spirits are almost one in the same. Ghosts are memories that linger in our Rome when the spirit is the energy. Inside of it are times of playgrounds and childish games are ghosts of who we used to be, the spirit, the joy or sadness. We feel what we remember it all. A crow came to me in a dream once it asked me. You have already died many times over. Why spend your time fearing what's already done? It flew off, calling into the cold night as I sat and wondered what it meant by this riddle. It meant as we grow older, we let go of what we are. Not anymore. Some of who we were has gone to the next Rome's memory for gotten over time, others air trapped here as we reflect on them and give them the spirit to stay with us. We are the ghosts that inhabit this room, our memories of spirits, that dance of the wind, the dead surround us as we surround them. They give to us visions and glimpses into another time. Another history way. Give to them our former Selves, stripped of egos and judgments for we have died so we can grow again. We are the ghosts that walk this earth.
