My name is Michael Shuler. I am responsible for the I T infrastructure and I T Service is at Schmidt's Cargo Bull, a G. Schmitz Cargo bull A. G is the European market leader for semi trailers and bodies in the heavy duty commercial vehicle sector. Our main expertise lies in the industrialized production of semi trailers for refrigerated trait, general cargo and bulk materials. Our range of surfaces covers expert advice as well as a comprehensive package of service is for the trailers. We decided to migrate R s a P system to the public cloud for a number of reasons firstly, cost efficiency and scalability. Schmitz carnivals production takes place throughout Europe, which meant that it was important for us to be able to quickly provide an infrastructure at the locations in question. And the public cloud is perfect for this. During the tender process, we decided on Arvato systems relatively quickly. From the beginning, we had the feeling that it fitted really well on an interpersonal level as well as in terms of professional expertise. The cost benefit ratio was also good, so it was quickly clear to us that Arvato systems would enter into the project with us. The project team consisted of 30 employees and we had three and 1/2 months in total to migrate the various systems altogether. We had to migrate HCM e A, P and C A. The biggest risk was the element of time. If you consider that we're moving our whole system into the cloud, including all interfaces, these three and 1/2 months are a very tight time frame. Consider that you not only move the systems into the cloud but also carry out testing as well as ensuring that the production also works when the systems are in the cloud. We met all of our objectives with the transition into the cloud. In terms of cost efficiency, we saved a total of 10% of the operating costs. Are businesses flexible at all times? That means we can now quickly provide a sandbox for our colleagues when it comes to projects. From the beginning, Arvato Systems was a provider that worked in close partnership with us. That meant that the project managers and employees got on very well with each other and fitted together on a personal as well as professional level overall, a very profitable project
