Jingles

Jingles are the perfect mix of business and pleasure. Highlights of custom jingles include the song from Rothy's Use Me Again campaign, the rap Let's Roll from indie film Unicorn City (under the moniker Dream Team Laser Beam), and the new theme song for the Puppet Time Online Podcast on YouTube with Eric Wright. My jingles have been placed in film and commercials, and I love to work with clients to compose custom music for their projects. Melody is at the core of my love of songwriting, and a good melody can share information that words can't on their own.

Music Composition

My debut solo record PUSH was released earlier this year on Righteous Babe Records. Previously, I self-released several EPs of original compositions, one of which includes a song co-written with Ani DiFranco. Alongside my band Pearl and the Beard, I co-wrote and released 3 full length records and 3 EPs. We enjoyed many sync and licensing placements for film and television, including three of our songs prominently featured in the film Hello, My Name Is Doris, directed by Michael Showalter and starring Sally Field, and our song Douglas Douglass as the theme song for Hannah Gadsby's comedy special Douglas. I've written many songs on commission for private clients and love telling stories through lyric and melody.

Skill Overview

Singers

I've been singing professionally as an independent recording and touring artist since 2005. My record PUSH was released on Righteous Babe Records in early 2021, and I've enjoyed touring with my former band Pearl and the Beard for both the opening act for Ani DiFranco as well as joining her as a backup singer. My cover of Buddy Holly's Every Day was recently in a heavily rotated ad for Citi Rewards Card, and my band's song Douglas Douglass was the theme song for comedian Hannah Gadsby's Netflix special Douglas. I've performed as a theater artist, solo performer, in bands, and in choirs – there are no circumstances under which I wouldn't love to sing!

My voice has a wide range of dynamics and can be quiet and pretty, bold and gravely, sweet and seductive, or straightforward.
