The summer area. YMCA is a community within a community that's dedicated to serving all who call our community home. That's who we've been for 100 and 35 years. The people that make up our organization, the members, volunteers, donors and staff are what make us strong together. We pour that strength into our shared mission. We're about physical fitness. Yes, but we're also about equal access to wellness resources. We're about the mental health of the teens, adults and seniors. We serve, we're about the overall well being of all and ensuring that everyone knows they belong and are welcome here to stay true to this commitment. We deliver food to 3000 families throughout the school year. We give another 200 families, the guidance and support of our staff through financial assistance for memberships and through safety around water instruction. We prevent drowning and provide a lifetime of confidence around water. The strength of our community is also measured by the equality of education and the emerging young leaders within our area. From the youngest learners, our six week old infants at the learning circle Y MC A to the teens in our volunteer leadership and mentoring programs. Participants at our Y are taught not just academics and skills but compassion empathy and what it means to be a good role model. Whether it's the laughs we hear on the field at youth soccer or on the pickleball courts, the blood drives, we hold the free programs for cancer survivors and families with special needs or something more. Please know that our Y MC A can only accomplish what it does because you care. We help strengthen our community each and every day because of you. The why for a better us?
