Hey there, I'm pulling brooks and today I'll be teaching you a two minute lesson entitled See it, Don't say it. Which is all about silent letters. This is just two minutes guys. So buried me and let's get that song Brennan silent letters are letters found in words that are not pronounced like no talk caesars. And yet There are two major groups of silent letters. The auxiliary and drama letters auxiliary are letters that work with other letters to form one specific sound. There are two types of auxiliary which are exact centric and those centric exhaust centric makes a sound that doesn't sound like either of the letters in the silent pair. An example for this is P. H. That sounds like letter F in the words phrase, Philippines, alphabet and geography on the other hand, and a centric produced the sound of one of the letters in a pair. Take the word huffed as an example which has two letter F in the word, but sounds like it only has one. On the contrary done letters are simply letters that are not pronounced. One of the few reasons why is it can be an inert letter which is renounced when the race word changes to a longer word. Like in the word sign, sign letter G is silent, but in the words signature signature letter G makes a sound. If the letters in the word do not change to make a sound, then they are known as empty letters and that's it for today. Hope you learned a lot. If you have any questions, feel free to email me on the email address given on my website. That's just two minutes of fun. Learning guys or even less CS.
