every wife had left him, no matter the care, nurture or the luxurious items he provided. Olivia was his first wife and the first to hear the voices. She would sit alone, lost and reading her Bible. When the voice would call to her. It often interrupted her while she read the Bible. She knew it was the devil's way of distracting her. Olivia. The deep voice called Olivia knew the spirit had learned her name. She refused to assign the demon of pronoun because the devil was not a man or a woman. In her eyes. Olivia, the voice repeated. She hated it. When the demon called her name, it sent chills down her spine and the hair on her arms would stand on end. She knew she had to answer. She had to respond to make the devil stop talking to her, Olivia had called again. She often yelled at the devil, telling it she was not scared, but she lied. She knew God would protect her, or she thought this was true of God. Her faith was strong. She decided to ignore the voice on this particular night, refusing to accept what she heard. Satan wasn't winning tonight, Olivia, the voice called again. Louder than normal. It sounded closer to her. She planted her face close to the Bible, not saying a word. She was determined. With God's help. She would win Satan's fight tonight. Fittingly, she was reading passages about yeah, way that she interpreted many different ways. She thought for a moment that God has sent an evil spirit to tormentor for her sends. That was one of her interpretations of away. She knew she was a center, like every human being before and after her, but she tried to live a wholesome life. She did not feel the punishment fit her sins. Olivia. It called louder and felt closer than ever before. She grasped her Bible tighter, shaking remaining quiet, she kept her nose glued to the pages of the Holy book. Olivia. She heard its footsteps. This time it was so close it sounded like it was almost in the room. With her. She could feel the darkness of its soul. She was terrified of what the devil was about to do to her. I rebuke you in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ, father and son and the Holy Spirit, she yelled firmly, confidently, still gripping her Bible. She heard the footsteps fade and the voices dissipate. God had one he always did.
