Description

An I.T. specialist asks his boss to act upon a drastic issue at their company.

Jerry, I wish that you would have talked with me about this sooner. With all the mess surrounding the coming trust merger, I am very busy with lots of things on my plate. However, considering the issue, it goes without saying that this cannot be overlooked. Now, normally I wouldn’t do this, but because I AM indeed very busy, I’m giving you full authority to investigate this matter yourself. I’ll even allow you to use whatever resources you deem necessary to get the job done….within reason. However, know that I wouldn’t do this to just anybody, and seeing as how you’re my top I.T. guy, I believe I can trust you. But since this such a huge issue, with a lot at stake, if this falls apart, I’ll know choice but to have to ask you to resign…or face termination. Are we clear?
