Hello and welcome to the Bern study. As a participant of the study. We understand that you may be in a lot of pain and discomfort. Our entire team is here to help guide you and support you as you take this clinical research journey. It's important to understand the process. You will need to follow when you apply the Silver Dean cream on your burn wound to ensure your safety comfort and the effectiveness of the treatment. This process must be done twice daily, at least eight hours apart throughout the treatment period or until the wound is healed also and this can't be stressed enough. You should always wash hands thoroughly with soap and water and put on a new pair of disposable gloves before touching your wound. When applying silva Dean on your wound, you and or your caregiver will need the following materials for each application. two layer standard burn dressing. Gauze, a rolled guys, a sterile tongue blade, disposable gloves, medical tape, alcohol wipes and a burn netting.
