Although the day had more clouds than yesterday, it had turned pleasant enough and not too hot a good thing, since there would be few trees to shade her. As she walked today, she hurried along. However, she made it home era. Mother awoke. She might rest for a short while herself. She had just entered the small town when she heard a commotion coming from betwixt two buildings. Well, look at the village idiot! What are you doing? Showing your ugly face among decent folks? Rosen froze. She suspected who the names were mistreating but prayed. She was mistaken. I want no trouble. Please leave me alone. She recognised ashes, low voice, and her heart started beating it a chest like a battering ram. She eased forward and paid around the corner. Should she go for the sheriff, she doubted if she had time, the three men she saw would do that damages. She could go in return, even if she could find him. Now. Why would we do that? The spokesman of the trio said. We just want to beat some sense into you. They all laughed, Roslyn bit down her fear, squared her shoulders and rounded the corner to stand defiantly with her hands on her hips. Who were you? That you would treat someone this way and here you that you have a care for this idiot? The leader id her from head to toe with his eyes lingering over her for much too long. By the looks of the three men, she guessed them to be from the castle unless they were just passing through. I asked my question. First they all left, but the leader took off his hat and swept it down in an elaborate bow. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lyle of Fairview Castle and these, my fellow knights, Adolf and Wrath. New knights still mainly in training, she guessed, and I am Roslyn, a Fairfield manor calling their house a manner stretch things a bit. But Lyle might have heard of Fairfield since it had once belonged to the castle lands. He looked surprised, said Duncan, In space, You must be his daughter, she noted. Did he know her father was dead? If not, now would not be the time to inform him. Well, since this beauty thinks I should do, you know, home today, idiot, It turns out to be our lucky day. Lyle spoke to Usher, but his eyes never left Roslyn with his dark red hair, and I set too close together. He reminded her of a fox. However, she grudgingly admitted that most women would likely find him handsome enough. I hope to see you soon, Rosen of Fairfield, with a wolfish stare that looked to devour her, he turned and left with his companions that his heel.
