in this section, we will be discussing fidelity and how we apply it to team training for our purposes. Here. Fidelity can be defined in two ways. One the degree of exactness with which something is copied or reproduced, and to faithfulness to a person cause or belief, demonstrated by continuing loyalty or support. Let's start with our first definition. If you have an item, a picture, a video, a joke, what it is doesn't actually matter, and you decide to share it with others. So you make a copy and you share it. Now let's say the person whom received the copy decides to share it as well and so on and so on. Now, each time a copy is made, it loses fidelity. Small bits of detail become lost with each generation. How does this apply to team training? Let's say that you formulate a training program and teach it to your first round of team members, whom in turn teach it to the next group and they the group after them. After a period, the loss of Fidelity becomes apparent is fine detail gets lost in translation. Eventually, this becomes apathy and poor performance. Which brings us to our second definition
