You must have heard these lines be best at whatever you do. Be a perfectionist. Everyone says this. We heard a lot these days. Get charged up from inside and try to be a perfectionist within some days of effort. And failed terribly. Get demotivated because we are not as good as someone whose biggest in the world. Well, buddy, he was doing those things from the time you weren't born. The problem of today's generation is we get hyper excited. We get easily fooled by some fake motivators who keep on telling us to follow this hustling culture. Leave everything just work. Leave your family, leave your food. Leave everything which is to be best to be perfect. And when you become that person, you see yourself die alone. A harsh reality You need to accept now or later. And let me tell you the moment you will realise you lost your time. You lost your family. No one is there with you anymore except the people who are getting benefited from you might get a break down and get into depression. But don't worry. This is not going to happen because we are here for you benefit this all hustling culture is just about the benefit of capitalistic goons. The more you work to be in the highest position in your office, the more easily they make money and enjoy the life with family and friends. And you just believe them with your eyes closed that you are the best. Listen to me very carefully. You're closed. Ones are much important than your career because your carrier is going to end one day. Your greatest tag is going to end one day and there is only one perfectionist in 10,000 people. So don't tell me those 9999 people are fools. They have a different, perceptive, different point of view. Different life. And now it's enough. We are here to give you clarity. We are seeing this right now. Don't be a perfectionist now I know some of you are in shock. Don't fear. I will elaborate this to make you understand this concept. First of all, just let me start By making you understand the drawbacks of perfectionism, perfectionism becomes a courier limiting behaviour as you move up through the ranks. Trying to get everything perfect can mean you take longer to produce results, and I'm speaking from personal experience. First of all, I would put off getting started because I didn't feel I had enough time to do it properly. That skull procrastinating. Once I got started, the perfectionist in me meant I spend way too much time researching, improving and polishing that took time away from other important projects, as well as time to prepare how I would present my material powerfully in the meeting. Most importantly, my health and well being suffered perfectionists are likely to puff off tackling task and projects because they are waiting for the right context, time and solution. They usually make a task appear more complex than it actually is and thus get intimidated. The unrealistic expectation about the results could even make the task appear impossible to achieve. Perfectionists might therefore end up putting off task constantly or avoiding them altogether. When perfectionists undertake the task of project, they tend to give too much attention to every detail. This includes even those details which are not very important. As a result, they end up spending too much time on a single project, thus resulting in low productivity also being too fussy about details will turn you into a workaholic, which will make you even less productive in the long run. One of the ionic disadvantageous of perfectionism is stagnation. Perfectionists usually have a specific way of doing things that they deem as the best. They assume that they know everything and are therefore unwilling to embrace input from other people. This denies them the opportunity of being exposed to new situations and ideas they would have learned from thus resulting in stagnation. Perfectionists are usually vocal Hall IX, who will not stop until they achieved their results. They desire. They constantly sacrifice recreation, food and sleep for the sake of work. In addition, they are always worrying about what could go wrong and whether they will achieve their desire outcome. As a result, perfectionists are likely to experience poor physical and mental health, which further hinders their productivity. If you are a perfectionist, you might find yourself putting pressure on the people around you to measure up to your standards. However, your inflexibility and rigidity will only end up pushing other people away. They will find hard to connect with you since you don't listen to their ideas or appreciate their effort your unrealistic expectations will lead to sub optimal relationship with your spouse, Children, friends, peers or workmates. Perfectionists are usually so obsessed with the little details that they end up missing the bigger picture. They find themselves more concerned with the result rather than the process. For instance, if you're a manager, you might be more concerned about meeting your targets, then developing the potential of your employees. Being shortsighted limits your potential and prevents you from being a visionary leader. So now what is the solution? Well, we got a list for you. Focus on the positives. Allow yourselves to make mistake. When you allow yourself to make mistake, we can see that it's not the end of the world when we fail. Mistakes are opportunities for us to learn, grow and do better. Set more reasonable goals. One way to let go of perfectionism is to set goals that are more achievable and smart. We will feel much less stress and more confident in our ability to reach our goals when they are realistic and challenging in a healthy way. Learn how to receive criticism. Perfectionists take criticism personally, however constructive criticism that can help us learn and grow is important. Try to recognise that healthy criticism can be helpful and is normal because it can allow us to do better. Lower the pressure you put on yourself. Remember that the person who pressures you the most is yourself. Be kind to yourself and practise self acceptance by lowering unrealistic standards you set for yourself. Focus on meaningful perfection. Tries to shift your focus on finding meaning in what you do, rather than trying to do it perfectly. If something brings us joy and purpose, then it doesn't matter If it's not done perfectly, Try not to procrastinate. The hardest part is always starting, but even creating a rough outline of our work ahead of time is better than nothing. Remember that it's OK if your work isn't perfect with the first try of first drafted and give yourself the grace to continue working on the project, cut out negative influences. We should be especially very of how social media promotes a narrative of hustle, culture and perfectionism in our work if you need to limit these channels or delete them altogether.
