By 2050 67% of the world's population will be living in cities. More than six billion men and women will need to get from A to B on a daily basis. Mobility is a really global challenge. Brazil, which is home to over 200 million inhabitants, harbors 2/3 of the Amazon rainforest. The Earth's lungs country intends to cut its greenhouse gas emissions by over 40% by 2030. How one of the solutions is to promote green mobility through more innovative urban traffic management. A device equipped with smart sensors and over 1500 cameras is helping to improve traffic flow. Thanks to Maya Strom, traffic lights adapt the amount of time it takes to change from red to green, depending on traffic levels, ensuring a smoother traffic flow in real time through invisible means. The daily lives of inhabitants is significantly improved, 30% better traffic flow on average, reduced fuel consumption and fewer greenhouse gas emissions now have the capacity to change our mobility. Energy is committed to bringing about this transformation
