It's true how they say it feels like time slows. It felt like an hour had passed, but the nurse had just spoken the words. It was minutes, really. I looked to Michael wondering whether we had both heard the same thing. Our baby was blue. She didn't have enough oxygen. She would be taken in for tests. The world spun was good.
