Ordinarily, mosquitoes are vegetarians, preferring to feed on fruit juice and nectar like other insects, but when she becomes pregnant she turns to human blood for extra nutrients for her developing eggs, hence her first for human blood. If she drinks blood from a person infected with malaria, she too becomes infected with the malaria parasite. Over time they reproduce and infect other parts of the mosquito, especially their saliva glands. The next time this mosquito bites a human, she will inject saliva to prevent the human blood from clotting. The parasite will then ride in with the saliva and eventually infect the human victim inside the human host. The parasites reproduce and continue to damage the human body from within, leading to severe symptoms. And if not treated death. And how will I know if I have Malaysia? Some of the symptoms of malaria include a high temperature or fever, headache, muscle aches, stomach pain and loss of appetite.
