What if hamburgers had feelings? The answer underscores how men perceive sex on a daily basis. Assume a woman hasn't eaten in one day. She likely is feeling hunger pains. She walks to the nearest restaurant and assuming she is not a vegetarian or is 1/2 pound sirloin burger while waiting for the burger, she thinks, quote, I'm so hungry. I can't wait to sink my teeth into this burger unquote. 10 minutes later, the hamburger arrives. Her next step is to pick up the burger and take a satisfying bite. But wait, it's not that easy. Suspend disbelief and assume the hamburger has feelings. Thus, the hamburger doesn't want the woman just to eat it. It doesn't want to be quote unquote, just a piece of meat. But essentially that exactly is what it is. A piece of meat. The hamburger wants to tell the woman how it used to be a cow. It's days grazing the fields, the terrible slaughterhouse, the long drive in the meat truck, the long stay in the freezer and finally, the hot stove. The entire time the hamburger is telling the woman it's feelings. All she likely can think about is eating it because she is hungry. However, if she leads the hamburger to believe that she just wants to eat it, the hamburger would pick up its pickles and go, and she would remain hungry without knowing where she was going to get her next meal. So what does the woman dio? She listens to the hamburger, talks to it and pretend she is interested in what it has to say, even though her primary motivation is to eat the hamburger. Eventually, she learns that in order to eat and survive, she has to quote unquote lie to the hamburger by faking a genuine interest in what it is saying. Eventually, the hamburger feels comfortable and finally allows her to eat it. Now satiated. Her concern is not having another hamburger, which is analogous to a man not wanting to have sex again immediately after an ******.
