In this brief training video, we will visit a handful of items within the scope of our subject. We will look at factors which commonly contribute to jackknife accidents. We will discuss how to avoid this type of accident and how to correct or recover should your truck start to lose its grip of the roadway. One patient came up to me upon discharge and said, I just want you to know that I have never been treated this way in my life. Thank you, I said. No one here is treated you kindly. He said No, I mean in my life. My heart skipped a B. After he left, I understood that I had gained some insight into this man. He believed that he was unlovable and did not deserve to be treated kindly. Tony is the manager of account services, and he has been taking his laptop home every night to catch up on an important project. Tony was running late and needed to make a quick stop at the grocery store. He was in such a hurry. He failed to lock the car doors. Upon returning to the car, he noticed his computer bag with his work laptop was missing from the front passenger seat. Frustrated, he decided to deal with it the following morning because he knew his laptop was encrypted. What should Tony have done differently?
