I'm a full-time professional Voice Over Artist and On Camera Talent with over 25 years experience. That includes local, regional and national commercials, corporate narration, documentaries, TV show hosting and in-show narration, along with a good bunch of eLearning projects, including medical eLearning.
Many years ago I worked in TV and radio news as an anchor/reporter, so I'm a good reader and I do enjoy bringing complex reads to life. I've also worked as a writer/producer and early on in my career, I even worked as a TV director at a medium size market (Stockton/Sacramento, California). I only mention this, to say I know it's a TEAM effort! And I know how much work goes into choosing each word.
I'm passionate about telling the story, and giving my clients the read the way they hear it in their minds. I take direction very well, and I'm also very consistent, so a client can come back to me for revisions after months and years have gone by--and I can still match the tone.
I'm also a pretty darn good editor and offer quick turnaround. And if you'd like to direct or listen in, my studio (with a WhisperRoom and Neumann TLM103 mic) offers Skype, SourceConnect and ipDTL.
Currently, I'm a PBS Pledge host in Miami, and love talking about all that wonderful programming. For Baptist Health, I interview doctors about innovative procedures and issues in health care, so I'm good with medical terminology. And..for 5 years I hosted a national business/health program that aired on FBN, Bravo and Bloomberg, interviewing CEO's and entrepreneurs from around the world. I wrote scripts for that program, so I'm pretty good with the jargon of industries like banking, tech, engineering, and energy.
In my longest-running vo job, I was privileged to describe productions on Broadway, London's West End, and in Las Vegas for 15 years, as the main narrator of The Broadway Channel (prior to its purchase by Broadway Across America in 2015). For this promo-style work, I had to match the tone of the featured production, whether tragic and poignant like "Les Miserables," or silly and risque like "Avenue Q."
As you can see, I've been in this industry a long time, and I understand it's needs and demands. Check out my testimonials, and you'll see how easy I am to work with. It's why most of my clients are referrals or repeat business. I'd love to work with you!

Over 20 years experience in Voiceover and On Camera Talent.
I'm a full-time professional Voice Over Artist and On Camera Talent with over 25 years in the industry, doing everything from national to local commercials, narrating documentaries and corporate videos, hosting TV programs, and doing projects like eLearning courses for nurses & oil-industry professionals, along with science TV programming for elementary school children. Many years ago I worked in TV and radio news as an anchor/reporter, so I can easily make those scripts sound real.
I am passionate about giving my clients the read they need, and do everything in my power to accomplish that. As you can see from my background and education, I'm a communicator in every way, whether it's through voice alone or on camera.
Business clients may be interested to know that for 5 years I hosted a national business/health TV program, seen on Fox Business Network, Bravo, CNBC and Bloomberg International, interviewing CEO's and entrepreneurs from around the world. For several years I also wrote the scripts for the interviews. Consequently I am familiar with the jargon used in many professions, whether it be banking, IT, real estate, or the energy industry, just to name a few. What does that mean to voiceover clients? Well, I can easily understand complex scripts and business phrasing, which cuts down on the prep time going over pronunciations and special industry jargon.
One of my favorite and most long-term voiceover jobs gave me the special privilege of describing productions on Broadway, London's West End, and in Las Vegas. This was promo-style narration, in which I had to match the production, whether poignant like "Les Miserables," silly and risque like "Avenue Q," or enchanting like "The Lion King."
I really care about delivering the most effective voiceover possible, in the quickest turnaround time possible, at a reasonable rate. If requested, I can also help with grammatical issues, polish scripts and write as well. I would enjoy the opportunity to work with you, whatever your needs.
My voice has been described as storyteller, friendly, upscale, classy, corporate, conversational, good with dialogue, energy, excitement, professional. Teacher, Doctor, Lawyer, Coach, Mom next door. Great with medical and business terminology.

I'm passionate about giving clients the read they're looking for, as quickly as possible, at a reasonable rate. I take direction very well. And, as an added bonus, I'm experienced with business jargon and medical terminology. If needed, I can also help write and/or polish copy & scripts, given my background as a Communications/English major and writer for broadcast (news and corporate).
