Basso Profondo (Deep Bass), deep, and resonant like Sam Elliott but without the Western drawl and more articulate. I range anywhere between commanding and gruff to warm and sincere. Intellectual and professorial to wise-guy and sarcastic. I welcome any directorial hints in order to get the exact sound you need from me and can usually perform them on the first or second take.

I have over a dozen years of daily, live, local radio and TV experience but not that many years of recorded voice over work. I started way back as a thespian in high school. We had a 16 watt FM school radio station in which I got my feet wet in broadcasting. Back then, we actually had to take an FCC test to get a 3rd Class Radio Telephone license. Today, it's just a memento.
In commercial radio, I have made hundreds of local commercial spots, live endorsements, basic announcer productions, and even a narration for a television documentary about the Old West.
I had some theater experience in my short college days and early adult years in local theater. I took all the classes at Voice Over Club as well as some professional coaching, which is ongoing. I did a half dozen on-camera, stand-up segments for local TV when I worked for them as a stringer. I have taken a few voice over seminars and attended workshops at a couple local colleges. I have hundreds of hours behind the microphone in front of live audiences speaking on stages at awards banquets, introducing acts, and making speeches. Rat Pack crooner music are currently my Karaoke go-to songs.
