I'm new to the voice-over industry, but have been experimenting with my voice for a few years now (purely for recreational purposes). I am now ready to launch my talent into the beginning of my entertainment career, and as everything is, this is yet another learning process for me.
Vocal talent is something I realized I had when I started giving my child-hood pets their own unique voices. It's something I always kept on the back burner, and am still working to master. That being said, I am always willing to try new things in order to perfect my vocal ability. Something I can do is perform a few character impressions, such as Miss Piggy, and Kevin Levin from Ben 10: Alien Force. I really enjoy watching cartoons, even though I should have out-grown them long ago, and am an artist majoring in anime and "comic-book" character drawing, as well as a sort of "jack-of-all-trades" writer. Yes, cartoons is the source in which I draw my inspiration for new voices.
Another talent I've been pursuing for a while now is singing, in which I am strictly self taught. Along with that I play the piano, which I've been doing for the past five years, and play the guitar, something I am teaching myself. I hope to begin recording my own material and contacting a record label within the next few years. I also work on beat-boxing and bird calls when I have the opportunity to do so.
On a side-note, I know some basic Japanese, but I am definitely still learning the language.
And in case you're still wondering, again, I am self-taught in everything I do.
I can do basic foreign accents, a handful of character impressions, some simple beat-boxing techniques (an art which I am still learning) as well as mimicking local bird calls. I can do narrative if necessary, for radio, commercials, etc. I also sing, and am learning Japanese.
