I have been speaking since before birth. It was a bit hard on my parents but I think the extra few months "training" in the womb definitely give me an advantage over most other voice actors.
I would describe my voice as rich, warm, expressive and easy to listen to, preferably for long periods of time. While I am well equipped to do character voices, accents and "formal presentations", my voice is most often described as friendly and conversational.

For the last 10 years I've been doing extensive narration for computer training programs for the Defense Logistics Agency/Department of Defense. I have more than 12 years of On-Air work in radio along the California Coast. Television (both live and production work), live theater, emcee work for fundraisers, parties, technology conferences, etc.
With the exception of a 1st Class FCC Radio-Telephone license received from the Ron Bailee School of Broadcast in Phoenix, AZ, a Novell Administrator certificate for Novell 5 and a certificate as a Computer Field Technician...my education has been Self-Inflicted. But "well received" for all of that.

Computer & Software
I built my current PC around an AMD Phenom 4650 quad core processor running Windows 7 Professional. For recording I use Adobe Audition CS6 and the latest version of Audacity.
Scarlett 2i2 audio USB interface, DBX 266 XL compressor
CD, Dropbox, email...I can accommodate most client preferences and requirements.
Simple projects (essentially short, raw voice) can be completed and delivered within 24 hours.
In my most recent position with Northrop Grumman / Defense Logistics Agency I did most of the narration for a wide variety of training programs and projects. As their "resident professional" voice talent, I was also in charge of finding, coaching and producing other voice talents needed for the various projects. Calling on my years in Radio and Television as well as my live theater experience I was able to provide the audio narration and production support required to keep our diverse client list withing the Department of Defense happy and coming back for more.
