Hi! I love bringing words to life! I'm a Singer-Songwriter (Lady Laraine) with a new single, "Never the Same Again," available at (Website hidden) (I wrote, sang, and produced the song myself). However--right now, I'm only interested in pursuing voiceover talent. (I like writing songs only for myself. I will probably be branching out into songwriting for others much later). I have a B.A. in journalism, with an emphasis on broadcasting and drama. I'm an excellent cold reader--for news, feature, and dramatic reads. I was blessed with a very versatile voice! I also market myself as a singer-songwriter, (which I market separately), so I have great timing and rhythm. I taught drama/ elementary school for twelve years, including directing students in musical productions of "Annie" and "The Wizard of Oz." I taken many drama classes and appeared in drama productions in grade school through college; then in community theatre (and extra work). In fact, when I was only ten-years-old, my parents enrolled me at Fort Wayne Civic Theatre, where I began to study drama.
I can offer an array of dialects and accents. (I am also tri-lingual, although not yet fluently.) I was an exchange student in France, studying French language for several months.

I'm relatively new to Voiceovers. However, I've had a great deal of experience (and training) in drama, music, and journalism, so I feel I'm very qualified to commit myself to a voiceover career. One example: Since I'm an author, I had to put together a reading for my action-thriller, "The Rise and Fall of the Witch on the Bayou." So since my book was set in Louisiana, I recorded background music and sound effects to enhance my audio presentation, while reading a chapter from my book. I also have appeared on TV morning shows to discuss about my book.

I've worked with celebrities in Los Angeles in community theatre and nonprofit work (although now I work only from home in Kansas City, MO). Sometimes I still travel to Los Angeles, however. Wherever I worked, I was always told I was a hard-worker and honest.
