My natural voice is deep, resonant, textured, and versatile.
Technical scripts are no problem, since I did my undergrad work in physics, my grad work in math, and taught physics, math, chem, and comp sci for more than 20 years at levels from middle school to two-year college. Bottom line: not only do I know how to pronounce almost all the big, technical words, I also know what most of them mean!
Thanks to my affinity for languages (undergrad minor: German), and my training as a stage actor (strictly community theater, so no autographs, please) I take direction well and I do several regional (South Philly, Brooklyn, North Jersey, New England, Southern U.S., etc.) and foreign (German, Italian, French, Russian) accents, or no discernible American accent at all (it took me forever to ditch the South Philly accent I grew up with, but I can summon it up in a heartbeat)---as well as character and comic voices. My delivery ranges from classic hard sell to romantic soft sell, with stops at goofy and comical.

I've been a professional voice artist since 1976; I was a professional radio personality from 1976 to 1997. My on-air experience included midday and PM drive shifts at stations in Atlantic City, NJ; Wilmington, DE; Philadelphia, PA; and New York, NY.
In addition to thousands of in-house radio station spots and promos, I have voiced hundreds of regional and national radio and TV commercials as an independent talent, as well as dozens of industrial and instructional narrations, as both an AFTRA and non-union voice talent.
Thanks to my many years acting in amateur theater productions, I can take direction well.
BS in physics, and MS in mathematics. That's totally irrelevant to this endeavor, but my mom liked to brag to the family and neighbors that I really could do more than just play records on the radio, so I put it on here in her memory.
