I am in my 30th year of doing broadcast voice work, mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area. I do morning drive news and/or traffic reporting on several radio stations for Metro Networks, including KBLX, KQED, KGO, KFGY, KFRC, KVRV and record nationally distributed hourly newscasts for the MetroSource news wire. I have done commercial work for Isuzu Motors and Sears Point Raceway and do 60 live commercial reads every weekday morning. I have been a regular personality on more than 30 radio stations and did on-camera reporting for 15 years on ABC-7 in San Francisco.
I have a degree in Psychology and a minor in journalism from the University of California at Berkeley, where I also got my start in radio at the campus stations, KALX, where I became News Director.
My voiceover training has included work with Taylor Korobow of The Voice Factory, Susan McCollom of VoiceMedia/Susan and Friends Casting and, most recently, Tom Chantler of Tom Chantler Voiceover and Voice One.
