I was dragged to my first theatre meeting way back when humans weren't quite upright. I took to it immediately and moved through a few years of theatre before being seduced by documentary production. For the last 18 years, I have been working as a film, tv and commercial actor and print model. I also have been fortunate enough to work regularly in the wonderful world of audio. Voices for animation or commercial endeavors kept me happily creating another side of myself but few things are a satisfying to me as voicing a full length documentary or TV series for a learning channel or audio bios for radio. I am currently in the early stages of production on a gritty cop series trilogy and as a result I have secured an award winning studio and equally award winning producer to assist me with this endeavor. I have no doubt that we will continue the alliance after the trilogy and begin to produce more books as we are able. I can think of nothing I would rather do at 9am on a Monday than go to the studio, sit in my comfortable chair, adjust the headphones on my tiny noggin, nod through the glass, and begin to read the tale before me.

Depends on the project. I can usually turn and ad around in less than 24 hours, audiobooks, inside of 10 days, one hour documentary - one day. It all depends on my availability and that of my engineer. But this is what we do, so....we're available.
The copy is emailed. Remuneration is agreed upon. Direction is emailed or discussed over the phone. Audition samples are sent with lower res equipment: MXL 2006 and Studio One. Completed project sent via one of the above methods. I don't know what else to add except I'm very conscious of timelines and services agreed upon.

Dear Karen,Shandra Miller, publisher
"Now, the real work for me begins!
I have to say, though, I'm kinda excited to have this (audiobook) out there. Thanks again for your work on this, Karen. If this sells well, it's going to be in very large part because of the talent you brought to the project. You have been amazing to work with.
Honestly? Too many to mention, but here's an over view of the range:
National TV commercials, In house industrials, Live Events, hosting, documentary features aired on various mainstream stations in Canada and the US, animated half hour TV, audiobooks, (eg. business, erotica, mystery, self development) and I once had to do 22 seconds on what it would sound like to have an elderly woman suck a pea up her nose then expel it.
